As a Customer Insights Analyst at Mr Price Apparel, you will play a crucial role in driving customer-centric strategies and initiatives. You will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting customer data to derive valuable insights that will guide business decisions, improve customer experiences, and optimize marketing strategies.
Your expertise in data analysis and consumer behaviour will be instrumental in helping us better understand our target audience and their preferences, ultimately enhancing our competitive advantage in the fast-paced and dynamic fashion industry.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Utilize various data sources, including customer surveys, transactional data, website analytics, and social media metrics, to collect and analyse customer-related information. Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for actionable insights.
- Customer Segmentation: Develop and maintain customer segmentation models to identify different customer groups based on demographics, behaviours, preferences, and buying habits. Use these segments to advise internal teams and external agencies.
- Consumer Behaviour Analysis: Analyse customer buying patterns, conversion rates, and customer journey data to gain a deeper understanding of customer behaviour and identify areas for improvement in the purchase funnel.

- Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitors' customer insights and market trends to identify potential gaps in budgets, channels, offerings, etc and suggest strategies to maintain a competitive edge in the fast fashion industry.
- Product Performance Evaluation: Collaborate with product development and merchandising teams to assess the performance of products and collections. Provide insights to support decision-making on product assortment and pricing.
- Marketing Campaign Analysis: Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, promotions, and advertising efforts alongside Digital Marketers. Provide actionable insights to optimize marketing spend and enhance campaign performance.
- Reporting and Presentation: Prepare and deliver regular reports and presentations to stakeholders, including management and cross-functional teams, to communicate key findings and recommendations.
- Data Quality and Integrity: Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity in customer databases and analytics tools. Implement data governance best practices to maintain data quality.
- Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Stay abreast of the latest developments and trends in customer insights, data analysis, and fast fashion to continually improve the effectiveness of customer-centric strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Customer Insights Analyst or similar role in the Ecommerce industry
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Analytics, etc) to extract and manipulate data efficiently.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create insightful dashboards and reports.
- Understanding of customer segmentation techniques and statistical analysis.
- Knowledge of market research methodologies and survey design.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Passion for fashion and a keen interest in the fast fashion industry.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
