Senior Process Control Assistant Monitoring - Rand Water

Job Advert Summary

To verify water quality compliance by collecting water samples throughout the purification process, analysing the sampler for different parameters using lab instruments, and reporting results to the Process Supervisor – Water Purification.

Primary Duties

• Collecting of water samples and observation of water quality in tanks on a two-hourly basis.
• Testing water samples and recording readings in the logbook.
• Reporting deviation of water samples to Process Supervisor – Water Purification.
• Keeping sample equipment clean at all times for correct results.

Minimum Requirements

• NQF level 4/N3 in Water and Waste Water Treatment
• Grade 12
• 2 years of Plant experience will be an advantage.
• Class IV Process Controller Registration
• Valid driver's licence – Code B and the ability to pass RW’s K53 driving test.
• Physically fit and strong
• Desired qualification – National Diploma: water Care or equivalent
