The Department:

Since 2013 Digiprocessing has become the payment service provider of choice for business partners around the world. Thanks to a single technical integration, Digiprocessing is able to provide all of its merchants with the following range of services: International credit and debit card processing for all major card brands; Access to alternative payment methods such as e-wallets, online and offline bank transfers, voucher solutions, prepaid services and direct debit solutions; Multi-currency processing; Geographical expertise and partnerships in key local markets e.g. Latin America, Canada, Europe, Russia, UK, Sweden and Africa.

Purpose of the Role:

A great opportunity has arisen for a self-starter to acquire professional, statistical and technical support services. Reporting to the Data & Stats Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Analytical and Data Team across the Group with an emphasis on statistics.

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Work closely with both internal and external clients and form strong relationships
• Use initiative and sound judgment within established procedural guidelines
• Organize and priorities the work schedule and handle multiple priorities
• Exercise discretion in dealing with confidential information
• Google analytics, understanding, reporting and trending
• Understanding the various systems utilized by the clients to report and analyses their data i.e. Tableau
• Innovative implementation of software to increase speed and quality of data
• Conceptualizing, defining and delivering new reports, as well as improving existing ones
• Analysis of data from various sources in order to ensure that the business acts proactively on the information at its disposal
• Obtaining, manipulating and analyzing business data to derive experience assumptions
• Assisting of new sources of data into company databases so that it can also be analyzed and included in relevant reports
• Hypothesizing, testing and comparing projected outcomes of scenarios for the growth of existing business and / or the development of new markets
• Highlighting potentially unprofitable scenarios in order to determine remedial action where possible
• Monitoring in conjunction with the analyst of subsequent actual outcomes relative to model assumptions in order to determine likelihood of goal achievement (particularly in respect of new markets) and / or need for changes in tactics and strategy
• Continually searching for new and useful ways to obtain, integrate and analyze data that is relevant to the company’s business model
• Identify innovative areas where analytics can be applied
• Education of report end-users so as to ensure a maximum spread of expertise around the company

Requirements

Essential Criteria:

• Degree in Research, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Actuarial Science or similar
• Minimum of  1-3 years working experience in statistical analysis
• Minimum of 1- 3 years Data Warehousing experience
• Demonstrates consistent behavior aligned to the Organizational Culture
• Advanced Excel Skills

Desirable Criteria:

• Post Graduate or Master’s degree
• SQL and data visualization program experience
• Programming, problem solving and data analysis skills
• Strong abstract reasoning skills

• Experience with Google Analytics
