Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Robotics and Coding Teacher to develop and implement exciting and engaging lessons in robotics, coding, and STEM-related subjects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in robotics engineering, computer programming, and educational pedagogy.
They will be responsible for creating a stimulating learning environment that encourages students to explore and experiment with robotics, coding, and other technology-related concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver lessons in robotics, coding, and other STEM-related subjects to inspire and engage students
- Create hands-on activities and projects that allow students to build and program robots and other interactive devices
- Provide guidance and instruction to students on programming languages such as Python and Scratch
- Foster critical thinking, problemsolving, and collaboration skills through projectbased learning
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their coding and robotics skills
- Stay uptodate on advancements in robotics and coding technology
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate robotics and coding into the school curriculum
- Communicate regularly with parents and school administrators to provide updates on student progress and program initiatives
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge in robotics and coding education

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in robotics engineering, computer science, or a related field
- Teaching certification or experience in a classroom setting preferred
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scratch, and Arduino
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for teaching and inspiring students to explore robotics and coding
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning styles of students
- Experience with robotics kits and programming tools such as LEGO Mindstorms, VEX Robotics, and Raspberry Pi
- Knowledge of current trends and practices in robotics and coding education
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and administrators to promote STEM education
