IT Portfolio Manager: eCommerce - Mr Price Group

Our Customer Commerce team is looking for a new IT Portfolio Manager. You’d oversee our eCommerce & digital space, making sure that all applications, solutions, systems and support teams are thriving! 

Responsibilities

Driving Strategy:

• Translate eCommerce strategies into solutions for key business requirements, drive capability and produce delivery roadmaps.
• Executing eCommerce strategies within associated domain architecture
• Executing, implementing and experiencing eCommerce systems

Service Delivery & Project Execution:

• Actively engage with internal Mr Price clients to interpret business eCommerce requirements, consult and provide expertise & advice.
• Plan, implement & evaluate eCommerce project execution within eCommerce and omnichannel of the business to align with the standard service management matrix (incl. SLAs).

Risk Management:

• Highlight project risks to the business
• Always ensure compliance with legislation and company policy during projects     

Team Management:

• Ensure that the workload within the team is distributed fairly and in line with the team's priorities to deliver on departmental KPI's / targets.
• Keep abreast of the talent pool to contribute to the recruitment of top talent.
• Drive succession, training and development within the team to ensure resource capability and business continuity.

Requirements

• A degree in a relevant IT field or business field (Technology, business or marketing)
• 5+ years in a management role with at least 3 years of these being in eCommerce
• PASSIONATE about all things eCommerce related
• Building/ developing products to deliver business value
• Deep Retail business understanding
