Our client is on the lookout for an Intermediate Java Developer. The business is renowned as one of the big four banks in the country. This is an opportunity to take your Java Development career to the next level. You’ll be using cutting edge technologies with a bank in Johannesburg CBD.
You’ll be involved in creating online and digital banking systems. This role requires someone with a strong technical background to be able to understand the complexity of the existing solutions in place and support them with a high degree of competence.
Non-negotiable must haves:
- Java 7/8
- CI (Continuous Integration)
- SQL (Oracle, Postgres)
- AngularJS
- Apache
- Swing
- Java EE Container(Glassfish (Payara), Tomcat, JBoss , Websphere)
- HTML/HTML5/ASP
- Custom MVC Framework, Vraptor
- CSS/CSS3/SCSS
Nice to have:
- Working on Agile Environment (Jira, Confluence)
- Micro Services
- DevOps
- Openshift (docker, etc)
- Build Tools (Angular CLI/ Gradle/ Gulp/grunt/ebpack )
- IoC / Dependancy Injection
- ASP/prime faces
- JQuery
