Mr Price Money is recruiting a Business Intelligence Analyst to provide analytical solutions that will improve profitability, through the conversion of analytical insight into sound business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Business Partnering
- Enables BI manager to make sound business decisions as a result of analytical insight.
- Understands business requirements to improve business performance.
Analytics
- Maintain and/or update analytical tools, databases, dashboards, systems, or methods and review data for trends, patterns, and causal analysis to assist in understanding relevant analytics.
Reporting
- Ensure that reports and data sets answer key stakeholder questions and provide insight to allow stakeholders to make informed data-driven decisions.
- Translate business needs into reporting requirements.
Requirements
- Commerce related qualification in the fields of Analytics, Statistics, Maths, Software Development or Marketing
- 2 – 3 years’ experience in a BI Analyst role or similar
- Experience using Analytical Tools: SQL - Advanced, MS Office - Advanced, Tableau - Entry Level (Minimum 6 months)
- Commercial Acumen
- Numerical Reasoning
- Analytical, Data Management and Attention to detail
- Understanding of the Customer Life Cycle, Problem Solving Skills
- Advanced Planning skills, Innovation
- Interpersonal skills
- Excellent Communication skills and working within a Team
