Bidvest International Logistics is looking to recruit a presentable, friendly and welcoming Receptionist to join them in their new premises based in Greenstone. The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for visitors or guests arriving at our organisation and should have a professional and welcoming demeanor to project a positive corporate and professional business environment. The incumbent will welcome guests and direct them accordingly, as well as front-desk activities and administrative support. The Receptionist will direct incoming calls appropriately to members of the organization.

  • Operation of switchboard.
  • Directing calls to correct department or person.

  • Attending to visitors.
  • Receiving documents from different companies.
  • Maintain a clean and customer friendly Reception area.
  • Greeting guests and connecting them with appropriate staff.
  • Keep the caller informed of your actions, whether you are transferring them or keeping them on hold.
  • Provide accurate information to caller at all times.
  • Ensure that you screen calls prior to transferring them to the intended employee.
  • Calls must be answered friendly and the company name must be clear followed by a warm greeting.
  • General administration and filing duties (e.g. printing meeting room bookings daily).
  • Accepting and routing deliveries and/or daily mail to the correct personnel.
  • Managing visitor traffic.
  • No issuing of employee's mobile numbers / e-may addresses without their consent.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Matric (Grade 12).
  • Prior experience as a receptionist and front desk meet and greet - 2-3 years.
