Job Purpose

To deliver Web artefacts, APIs, Incident fixes, change requests, operational excellence and productity within a team of developers and technoloy experts (architects etc). To realise business requirements through the provision of quality solutions which are developed using high levvel end-to-end design and architecture. To perform consulting services to find suitable solutions to various business requirements. For an individual with passion, courage, ownership and good collaboration skills.

Job Responsibilities

Business: Faciliated client workshops, work with business analysts, processs analysts to document business requirements and develop them into use cases and solution design.  AS-IS process analysis, designing TO-BE processes and creating end-to-end solutions using various technologies within the Microsoft stack. Deliver code/software within agreed time lines and budget. Deliver proof of concepts to customers and obtain necessary sign-off. Communicate new features to stakeholders through various forums. Participate in the co-creation of the Mobile and Digital strategy for the business. Promote innovation, optimization, identifying new business opportunities and offer broader strategic offerings.

Tasks:  Ensuring that they develop efficient and high-quality code. Regular revision, continous improvement of development standards and related methodology. Ensuring development standards in software development projects. Driving collaboration and knowledge exchange regarding software development practices and technology. Drivin and promoting Agile approach and routines. Deliver a world-class service by ensuring a client centric culture. Optimise value add through identifying and managing risks arising from own department. Improve delivery capabilities and capacity considering future skill requirements for the division. Ensure that production stability is achieved and maintained across all systems under scope of responsibility. Manage internal and external suppliers/ stakeholders in accordance with defined  and agreed SLA's.

Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

  • Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
  • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate

  • Technologies and Frameworks: .Net Framework and .Net Core / HTML5 Technology stack / JSON and SOAP services / Bootstrap, Material. / Database Servers (SQL Server essential) / Web Servers (IIS preferred) / File Servers (sFTP)
