The Business Intelligence Developer will administer all forms of data flow through the stages of extraction, transformation and loading into the KFC Africa data warehouse. Building new data structures, load programs, meta data layers (includes multi-dimensional cubes) and reports that meet KFC Africa Business Intelligence needs. Working closely with the Business Intelligence Manager to evolve the KFC Africa business intelligence architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partnering in end to end solutions, from creating data feeds to creating reporting for business
- Enhance the warehouse environment to provide BI as a service to various business units
- Mature and evolve data /information management and constantly validate integrity, completeness and effective of KFC Africa’s warehouse on a daily basis
- Enhance, upgrade and modify existing dashboards, reports and presentations to meet business needs
- Operational tasks, ad hoc requests and completion of financial data runs (Includes weekends), monitoring of jobs (includes weekends)

Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in information systems/Informatics or Computer Science
Experience:
- At minimum 4 years’ experience in a Business Intelligence developer role with exposure to creating and maintaining data feeds (tech: SSIS) as well as creating reports (Power BI or SSRS) and creating cubes for use by business
- At a minimum 2 years’ experience in database design
- Any experience with Azure will be advantageous
Skills:
- Microsoft Business Intelligence Products (PowerBI, SSIS, SSRS, SSMS) – Expert
- Database Warehousing Technologies - Expert
- Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) – Expert
- Analytical and problem solving – Expert
