An artisan is a person who is relatively professional with their hands. That is, an artisan works usually in a technical field, doing professional manual labour. This may be as a boilermaker, welder, fitter and turner, millwright, plumber, mechanic, electrician, carpenter and lots of different fields.

In order to come to be an artisan, you will have to bypass a Trade Test for your field if you want to be nationally regarded as an artisan. But first, you'll want to attend a TVET college with the intention to study the theoretical skills needed to study the practical skills essential to become an artisan.
