Motus Honda Eastrand currently holds a vacancy for a Driver: Light Duty.
Reporting to the Manager: Parts, this position will be suitable for an individual who will execute all driving duties and to assist with any other reasonable duties as required.
Position Overview
Specific Role Responsibilities
- Collect all parts from other branches, customers, and outside suppliers
- Deliver parts to outside suppliers, other branches, customers and any other destination required
- Check delivery vehicles for damage, defects, missing parts, spare wheels and spanners and report to the Manager
- Check vehicles for defects and ensure that they are locked
- Check vehicle for damages and general road-worthy conditions
- Do all other reasonable duties required by the department
- Report all accidents and traffic offences to the Manager immediately
- Work overtime when required
- Take vehicles to roadworthy
- Assist customers when on the showroom floor
- Help customers find vehicles when collecting vehicles

Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of Grade 12
- Must have a valid driver’s license with PDP
- Clear criminal record
Skills and Personal Attributes
- Customer and team orientation
- Must have excellent verbal communication skills
