We are seeking a diligent Driver for a 3-month fixed term contract to join our team at the Linbro Park, Gauteng branch. You will be required to deliver and collect stock from various areas in Gauteng and in doing so maintain a clean vehicle and adhere to road and traffic laws. You will also be required to follow any other relevant instructions.
Driver responsibilities are:
- Delivery of orders to customers
- Collecting stock from suppliers
- Ensure correct paperwork goes with goods for delivery/collections
- Checking of stock to ensure it is correct before delivery/collection
- Loading and unloading of stock on a vehicle with delivery/collection
- Check the vehicle daily for cleanliness and or any damages or wear and tear problems
- Ensure vehicle licence is up to date and inform line manager when it is due for renewal
- Ad hoc duties as required in the stores.
Required
- Minimum of Matric/NQF4
- 2-3y rs previous Working experience in a similar role
- Capable of lifting large heavy objects throughout the day with the loading and unloading of vehicles
- Valid unendorsed Code B driver's licence (essential)
- Good verbal communication skills in English and one other official South African language
