Intercare Glen Marais Medical and Dental Centre situated in Kempton Park seeks to recruit a Dental Receptionist. The focus of this position is to provide professional customer service by facilitating the administrative process between the Healthcare Professional and Patient.
CRITICAL OUTPUTS
- Manage accuracy and integrity of data
- Coordinate and schedule doctor’s training and meetings with pharmaceutical companies.
- Schedule standard and referral appointments for patients according to established procedures.
- Direct all customers to the appropriate location, services and appropriate professional.
- Ensure that the reception area is always neat and tidy.
- To refer all emergency cases to the nurses’ station without delay.
- Coordinate and manage patient flow in the Dental waiting area.
- Manage the flow of patient files to and from professionals.
- Monitor the use of supplies and equipment.

REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12
- Previous experience in a medical or dental practice environment essential
- Computer proficiency (MS Office)
- Working knowledge of GoodX is advantageous
