Introduction
To manage the overall electricity and water consumption of the Woolworths Group and deliver on GBJ targets and initiatives
Job Summary
- Review energy and water profiles across stores, identify problem areas and assist stores with behaviour and process issues
- Set monthly electrical and water budgets across all stores and track progress against budget
- Monthly review and validation of all store water and electricity bills, resolve billing queries with Finance and stores as well as disputes with Landlords and provide technical input as required
- Work with third-party metering specialists to ensure metered data is accurate and energy profiles and reports are presented in a meaningful way
- Review billing with third-party specialists to ensure Woolworths are charged according to the most economical tariff.
- Deliver on GBJ sustainability targets, energy and water savings targets
- Track and report on all carbon consumption activities related to stores, compile carbon disclosure reports
- Conduct regular training and awareness sessions in stores re energy and water savings techniques and practices
- Investigate energy and water savings technologies and successful implementation of key projects in this area
- Work closely with internal and external audit teams as well as Corporate Governance teams to ensure accurate collection and reporting of data

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Electrical Engineering Degree or National Diploma
- Minimum 6 years of electrical consulting/ contracting experience
