ABOUT THE ROLE / PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Supports production by providing effective electrical equipment maintenance and installation while adhering to procedures/codes.

FUNCTIONAL OUTPUTS

• Projects and small modification investigations and management
• Extensive Daily Maintenance and housekeeping
• Effective problem solving and defect reporting
• Maintain a healthy and safe environment

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications :

• 
  N3 Electrical or NQF 4 equivalent/Grade 12
• Valid Red Ticket (Or in a position to obtain one)
• Valid Trade Test Certificate (Electrician)
• Valid Code B license
• Flameproof certificate ( Wish )

Experience :

• Ability to read electrical drawings and interpret them
• Trouble shooting and fault finding rectification defects
• Planning and execution of tasks
• Operational switching and distribution switching
• 3-4 years’ experience in production environment or on maintenance of production machines
