We, UPM are looking for a Terminal Administrator to join our UPM Raflatac South Africa Team in Johannesburg Terminal Germiston.

What you’ll do

  • Perform all duties in compliance with the OHS Act and regulations as well as all company policies, procedures and standards.
  • To source suppliers that meet UPM’s requirements to provide goods and services to the terminals from local and international vendors.
  • Create service agreements with suppliers.
  • Create Purchase Orders
  • Creating frame and miscellaneous orders Finance, IT and HR.
  • Verifying of administration related invoices
  • Create manual payments weekly, statutory, and non-standard payments.
  • Prepare and load foreign payments.
  • Checking and approving weekly payment proposals.
  • Assist with queries from suppliers and PI and intervene when situation is unresolved.
  • Reporting of fixed and variable costs monthly and as required.
  • Assist with budgets where necessary.
  • Submit and load Provision and final Tax payment.
  • Assist with internal and external audits as required.
  • Collate and submit monthly payroll information for processing such as overtime.

Who you are

  • You are analytical and Interpretative skills
  • You have excellent communication skills
  • You have ability to plan well and work under minimum supervision
  • You have knowledge of applicable accounting practices, standards and procedures
  • You have problem solving skills
  • You have ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines
  • You have availability to work extended hours when required.
  • You have excellent Windows, Excel and Word processing skills.
  • You have minimum 5 years’ experience within a similar role, 3-year qualification in Business Administration /Engineering/Operations/ Production.
  • You have own transport essential.
  • You have a degree in relevant area.
