Security Officer at Red Ant Security Relocation and Eviction Services

DUTIES:

• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment and access points; permitting entry
• Prevent losses and damages by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures and restraining trespassers
• Complete reports by recording observations, information , occurrences and surveillance activities; interview witnesses; obtaining signatures
• Maintain environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls
• Maintain organization's stability and reputation by complying with all legal, client and site specific requirements and procedures
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Ensure the security, safety and well-being of all personnel, visitors and the premises
• Provide excellent customer service
• Adhere to all company service and operating standards
• Adhere to all client and site-specific service and operating standards
• Respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees and customers
• Protect the company and client's assets relative to theft, assault and fire
• Follow procedures for various initiatives, including property control, traffic control and incident investigations

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3 to 4 Years experience as a Security Guard
• Only candidates from Tembisa Area will be considered for self-posting purposes
• Must be able to speak English fluently and have good English reading and writing skills
• Must have a valid Drivers License
• Must have a clear Police / Criminal record
