Creative Director - Recruit Digital

A forward-thinking international agency based in the beautiful town of Knysna is looking for a creative director to join their team! They have many exciting clients, including world-renowned musicians and artists who have topped Billboard charts and sold out venues across the world.

The ideal candidate is someone with a strong copywriting background in prominent brand or agency, with the drive to take their career to the next level. Salary is R45k-55k negotiable on level of experience. We are looking for someone who is a strong leader, has fantastic conceptual skills, is able to review work and offer clear guidance and feedback, to shape and nurture concepts and convert them into impactful work for our clients. You must be able to manage a team and have good problem-solving skills and understanding of client business objectives in order to ensure these are met.

Some more requirements:

• Six+ years' experience as senior creative copywriter OR art director/designer, or creative director
• Excellent team leader with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• For art directors/designers, good knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc
• For copywriters, knowledge over various forms of marketing related writing (i.e. ATL, BTL, direct, social, etc) as well as scriptwriting and music selection for AVs
• Willing to work overtime and go the extra mile to get the job done to the highest standard
• Experience in working with (at least some of) the following: sequential comic art, illustration, infographics, newsletters, character animation, motion graphics, poster campaigns
• Ability to supervise, hire, develop and manage creative team members
