Supply Chain Analyst at Mr Price Group

We, Mr Price Group are looking for a motivated and passionate partner, with an obsession for continuous improvement, who is able to analyse and drive key metrics across supply chain and sourcing, focusing on speed to market, low cost and sustainability to join the Sourcing team within the mrphome division.

 A guideline of what you’ll do as a Supply Chain Analyst:

• Measure and manage the vital metrics across the value chain and critical path
• Work with supply base to meet defined targets
• Recommend and implement ways in which to enhance business processes, improved efficiencies and reduce costs
• Engage with suppliers, 3PLs, internal stakeholders and monitor KPIs including cost management
• Assist with and implement projects

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12
• A relevant qualification (i.e. within manufacturing, imports & exports or BComm Supply Chain)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience within a supply chain role
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Other BI platform experience (advantageous)
• Ability to work accurately, with strict attention to detail
• Ability to communicate fluently via both, verbal and written communication
• Strong reporting and analysis skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced, highly pressurized environment and able to meet deadlines
• Retail and homeware knowledge is advantageous
