Job Description
- Lead the development and execution of business operations strategies, ensuring alignment with overarching corporate goals and long-term growth objectives.
- Drive cross-functional integration of commercial and operational activities, fostering cohesive execution, streamlined service delivery, and end-to-end value chain optimization.
- Optimize resource utilization and performance management, guiding teams to achieve productivity gains while embedding a high-performance and continuous improvement culture.
- Drive operational excellence by embedding standardized frameworks, proven practices, and scalable methodologies to enhance efficiency and enterprise agility.
- Establish effective risk management and compliance frameworks, safeguarding business integrity through adherence to regulatory standards, internal controls, and corporate policies.
- Foster a collaborative, high-impact team environment, providing strategic guidance, on best practice cultivating professional development, and reinforcing a culture of innovation and accountability.
- Enable and scale business development efforts by streamlining operations, enhancing cross-functional execution, and supporting growth initiatives with data-driven insights and agile processes.

Responsibilities
- Partner with Software Engineering CoE and provide guidance on various topics related to resource planning, workflow optimization, business integration and commercial operations
- Collaborate and work closely with other chapter leads to align on the overall software CEO strategy, drive synergies and achieve operational excellence
- Lead the formulation and deployment of operational frameworks that strategically enable the Software Engineering Centre of Excellence to deliver on its mandate, optimize performance, and drive sustained innovation.
- Maintain and manage the business operations including resource planning, process execution and incident management
- Identify inefficiencies within existing business processes, particularly within the software engineering CoE, and implement strategies to streamline and enhance these processes
- Manage key projects from inception to completion, including scope definition, resource allocation, time management to ensure timely delivery of projects
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis, manage budgets, forecast financial needs, and monitor expenditures, along with the finance team to support decision-making and optimize the business performance
- Deliver strategic insights to executive leadership through comprehensive analyses, reports, and dashboards, highlighting performance trends and priority areas for enhancement across the Software CoE Ensure adoption of best practices in project management and process integration, ensuring that integration projects are executed with precision and efficiency
- Advance customer service excellence by streamlining delivery processes and ensuring enhanced service delivery and proactive issue resolution.".
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable data driven decision-making and provide operational insights for strategic projects
- Manage resource planning and distribution to ensure optimal support for team priorities across the Software CoE.
- Partner with IT teams to optimize and evolve operations management tools, ensuring seamless integration with emerging technologies to drive operational efficiency
- Define and track relevant metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team performance, quality, and productivity. Provide regular status updates and reports to key stakeholders
- Champion the professional development of team members through active coaching and mentorship, strengthening their capabilities in operations management.
- Provide operational leadership to enable business development initiatives, ensuring scalable processes, cross-functional alignment, and timely execution to support growth objectives.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
- Master’s degree or MBA with a focus on technology management is preferred (Preferred)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is advantageous

Experience:
- 7+ years of relevant working experience
- 4-5 years of experience in business operations, including at least 3 years in a managerial role
- Experience in managing business operations and leading commercial strategy for complex organizations
- Experience of working in software engineering or technology sector (preferred)
Skills :
- Proficiency in project management and process improvement methodologies
- Proficiency in data analysis, budgeting and forecasting techniques
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, quality assurance and incident management
- Ability to analyze and interpret technical and financial data
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. : Oracle, SAP)
