Our client is seeking a Senior Legal Advisor to provide comprehensive legal counsel, contract management and review, correspondence and litigation support across their business operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your expertise will be crucial in protecting the company's legal interests and managing associated risks.
What you'll do:
- As a Senior Legal Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive legal counsel, contract management, correspondence, and litigation support to various business line leaders. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include researching and staying updated with relevant legislation in corporate and gaming law, drafting legal documents, contracts, correspondence, and undertakings. You will also monitor and report on the optimal use of contracts and claims management systems. Your expertise will be crucial in reviewing legal material, collecting evidence on legal matters, providing litigation advice to improve consistency among operations, and reducing commercial risk.
- Research and stay up-to-date with relevant legislation in corporate and gaming law
- Update templates and contracts to reflect current legal trends and legislation
- Draft legal documents, contracts, correspondence and undertakings
- Monitor and report on the optimal use and user compliance within the contracts and claims management systems
- Review legal material and other relevant documents and collect evidence on legal matters
- Provide litigation advice to improve consistencies amongst operations and reduce commercial risk

What you bring:
- Admitted Attorney with a minimum of 6-8 years’ post-qualification experience
- Working knowledge of legislation and regulations pertaining to the gaming industry
- Corporate governance and industry knowledge
- Risk management
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to evaluate information (analysing and conceptualising)
- Experience in managing customer & stakeholder relationships
- Organising & coordinating resources
