Job Purpose:
To ensure good housekeeping of the Necsa site by performing cleaning services in terms of cleanliness, safety and maintenance of buildings/designated areas according to Necsa and SHEQ requirements.
Key Performance Areas
Business Continuity and Efficiency
- Performs general clean-up of all office facilities.
- Perform general cleaning of rooms
- Perform general cleaning of passages and recreational areas
- Perform general cleaning of bathrooms.
- Housekeeping, making beds and prepare rooms for intake.
- Wash bedlinen, and pack in store room.
- Perform duties as per weekly and monthly schedule.
- Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas.
- Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting.
- Disposing of trash from bins and containers.
- Carry out deep cleaning and detailed cleaning tasks as per schedule.
- Notify management of deficiencies or repairs required.
- Stock and maintain supply rooms.
- Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special/ad-hoc projects.
- Work over weekends as per schedule.

Job Requirements
Key Knowledge & Skills
- Ability to handle heavy cleaning equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 10.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.
- Experience working in the hospitality industry (hotels; hospitals; student residences etc) is an added advantage.
