About The Opportunity
The successful candidate needs to be a commercially astute, articulate, dynamic, intuitive and an influential financial leader with the ability to operate at a fast-paced strategic and operational level. The CFO will play an integral role in the operational and strategic direction of the company to achieve long-term sustainable results.
The role of the CFO is fully accountable for all the financial aspects and systems that will help the company grow in line with our strategies. The CFO is expected to analyse results and implement recommendations based on their findings with the most profitable outcomes.
While overseeing the accounting functions and team, the CFO will play a key role in developing and implementing financial procedures and ensuring strong financial controls to improve and maintain the financial health of the business. The incumbent will also be responsible for the successful delivery of finance and related projects.
The role requires strong leadership by someone who can influence and embrace constant change while continuing to build a dynamic, skilled and professional finance team that takes full accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the company's financial strategy, reporting, and compliance to achieve long-term goals.
- Oversee all financial systems, ensuring compliance and support for strategic growth.
- Manage cost control, treasury, and investments for optimal financial health.
- Provide actionable insights through advanced financial reporting and data analysis.
- Collaborate with internal and global teams to align financial strategies with business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements.
- Lead and inspire a team of 60 finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence.

Experience & Qualifications
- 10+ years in financial leadership.
- 3+ years in a CFO or Financial Director role preferred.
- Proven ability to lead large teams and deliver measurable results.

- Advanced commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
- Expertise in financial planning, compliance, and risk management.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building capabilities.
- Proficiency in B-BBEE compliance and regulatory standards.
