Responsible for assisting with all general functions to ensure that the S&V1 department reaches its production target.
KEY FUNCTIONS:
General duties:
- Puts bales on the tables.
- Weigh the bales and write on the bag the weight.
- Ensure that you take the correct lot to the tables for the sorters.
- After sorting write down on the worksheet internal reference number, bale number and the weight of each sorter.
- Give the information to the supervisor.
- Effective transportation of wool.

- Perform any other ad hoc activities/duties/tasks/ as requested by the supervisor or management in the plant.
- Adhere to the rules and regulations of health and safety.
- Ensure compliance with applicable ISO standards.
- Maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities.
Requirements:
- Grade 10-12
- 2-3 years’ working experience of the functioning of S&V1 department.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse functioning.
- Physically fit and be able to work on your feet for long hours.
- Be able to follow instructions and work independently.
- Be prepared to work overtime and shifts when required to do so.
