About the Role

There is an opportunity for a Data Capturer to join our Customer Services team based in Pinetown, South Africa reporting to the Customer Service Manager. In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for the timely and accurate capturing of all customer orders and customer engagement.

What You Will Do

  • Effectively manage and maintain the centralized customer order e-mail account;

  • Order processing from receiving the customer purchase order (PO) and release to warehouse for dispatch;

  • Order verification against automated order entry tool vs SAP B1;

  • Issue order fulfillment confirmations to customers upon successful processing of orders;

  • Understanding of the tender order processing and verification;

  • Management of cash sale orders and confirmations;

  • Maintaining data accuracy on all orders processed in line with the KPI requirements;

  • Maintenance of quotes and draft order facilities to keep the system updated;

  • Work cross-functionally within the customer service team as the need arises.

Who You Are

  • Must have matric with post-matric qualification in the relevant field of Customer Services, Supply Chain or Business Administration;

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in data capturing in a similar Customer Services or Administrator role, with experience in order processing within an FMCG or medical device industry;

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with SAP experience and understanding of Esker and EDI order tools and systems;

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be fluent in English;

  • Must be punctual, organized with excellent attention to detail; Must be a team player, flexible and able to work accurately at a fast pace.
