Job Purpose
To package finished products according to quality specifications while achieving operational throughput requirements within a food-safe and hygienic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Pack finished product on various packing machines
- Reach production target per shift
- Ensure continuous quality monitoring and recording of results
- Ensure food safe and hygienic work area is maintained at all times
- Report all production downtime to supervisor/manager timeously
- Record and analyse downtime reasons.
- Deep cleaning of machine and area.
- Random tasks requested by HOD
- Invocom™ participation and facilitation

Qualification Requirements
Matric / Grade 12
Experience Requirements
- 2 – 3 years of milling industry experience
- 3 – 4 years experience as a packing operator
Key Outputs
- Milling environment – hot and noisy
- Required to work outside of normal working hours (after hours and overtime)
- Working with and on heavy equipment and plant (mechanical and electrical)
- Working Shift
