The role

Main Responsibilities of Functions of Job (describe Major Responsibilities)

• To troubleshoot system problems and the repair of such work
• To perform duties on the workshop floor of the site and underground

• To participate and ensure a high standard of work
• Rectify all electrical and mechanical breakdowns
• Ensure legal compliance on all machines
• Quality work at all times
• After-hours and standby duties
• Be part of the safety programme and good housekeeping
• To be part of the workshop team
• Timekeeping as per company rules and regulations
• In case of any off-site work company to provide transport
• Expected to assist in other areas/divisions in the company when needed

Competences, skills and experience

• Grade 12/NTC 3 with trade qualification

Behaviours

• Technical background
• Trade qualified artisan
• Valid driver's licence
• Good product knowledge
• Interpersonal skills to work as part of the Workshop team
• Be presentable to customers in grooming and dress code
