Come and join this dedicated team as our Security Admin & Logistics Officer. The Security Administrative and Logistics Officer will be responsible for ensuring day-to-day administrative and logistical functions are done according to relevant company policies and procedures.

Performance and Delivery Information gathering and conducting of effective administration and logistics to support Tactical
Response Services:
- Address logistical challenges within Tactical Response Services to ensure prompt implementation of tactical deployments throughout all business units.
- Conduct time and attendance, including managing travel logistics for the Tactical Response Service Team.
- Ensure compliance with transportation, legal compliance, licensing of vehicles and firearms, permits, authorizations and appointments.
- Ensure safety standards, protocols and regulations are adhered to.
- Maintain accurate records of training, personnel, meetings, purchasing and all other relevant activities.
- Ensure medical compliance and bookings of all Tactical Response Services members.
Effective provision of Tactical Response Services in the organization:
- Continuously liaise with the team leader administration and logistics to ensure statutory and mandatory compliance.
- Ensure that safety and legal standards are adhered to in performing security duties.
- Assist during emergencies and injuries to TRS employees.
- Ensures availability of good working conditions of materials, resources and equipment, also ensuring that equipment issued and used during deployments are secured and safeguarded.
- Conducts inventory and ensure all assets are accountable for.
- Ensure that security initiatives facilitate the need of the operation.
- Maintain applicable Safety, Regulations, Legislation, Codes of practice and standards applicable to TRS.
- Support the protection of company employees, contracted employees and assets in high-risk situations.
- Conduct regular audits and observations required including inventory audits and to ensure all assets are accountable for.
- Act as a witness when called upon in criminal and disciplinary cases.
Good employee Public Relations:
- Develop a trusting and mutual respect relationship with Tactical Response Services team members including effective communication.
- Supports Tactical Response Services members to work in a safe, productive and in a legal environment.
- Support the induction of any new Tactical Response Services employees.
- Support disciplinary and grievance inquiries.
- Identify potential conflict situations and minimize the implications.
- Maintain discipline and ensure fair decisions regarding ER policy, testify in criminal court/CCMA / disciplinary cases.
- Participation in investigation / information gathering improvement projects.
- Identify risks and threats to the process/functions proactively and support efforts to overcome operational problems.
- Cultivate necessary information sources and gather relevant information.
- Maintain good relationship with general public.
People & Teams:
- Actively engage as a team member in all team processes.
Compliance:
- Adherence to Anglo-American internal and external compliance (legislative, regulatory, permitting) requirements.
This role is at a GBF 7 level reporting to the Security Admin & Logistics Team Leader

Qualifications
Prescribed: Grade 12
Desirable: Firearm qualifications (Statement of Results for Business purpose and SAPS Competency) will be advantageous
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in administrative and logistics within a security environment.
Technical knowledge(experience) required for role:
- Ability to keep information secured and secretive.
- Maintain confidentiality on all investigations/information gathering.
- Ability to function during stressful situations.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Advanced computer literacy skills.
- Developing knowledge of applicable business report writing.
- Advanced knowledge in business-related operating systems (SAP Fiory, IntelliShare, Qmed, Egencia, Concur etc.
- Advanced skills in statement-taking and report writing.
- Proficient interpersonal and communication skills (spoken, written and reading).
- Proficient skills in presentation and handling of evidence in court/disciplinary hearings.
- Proficient skills in handling various emergencies
