A well-established Private Game Reserve in the Western Cape requires a qualified and experienced Security Officer.

Key Performance Areas:

Safety and Security

• Report for duty on time and as per roster in a presentable manner
• Approach guests’ at the entrance with a friendly, professional, helpful and polite manner
• Execute order from superior with efficiency
• Report any wrongdoing during your shift
• Ensure all doors are locked during the night shift
• Patrol around all buildings and vehicles
• Secure the main entrance by locking the gate
• Report injured animals to reserve management
• Report maintenance issues that need attention to management
• Handle any security-related information as confidential
• Capture patrol updates in the APSEC Occurrence Book

Adhoc

• To perform any other associated and reasonable task that may be required from management from time to time

Standard Requirements

• Maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance at all times
• Wear a clean, ironed uniform and a nametag
• Respect his / her Supervisor and be a good team player at all times
• Respect his / her fellow employees and team members
• Utilise company vehicle for security jobs only
