You'll be the MVP of our team, assisting the Store Manager, and helping to lead our squad to victory. Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Assist the Store Manager in leading and motivating a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.

  • Customer Service: Ensure that every customer receives excellent service by leading by example and coaching the team on customer interaction and problem resolution.

  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels, merchandise displays, and stock replenishment to maximize sales opportunities.

  • Visual Merchandising: Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising team to create eye-catching displays that drive customer engagement and boost sales.

  • Training and Development: Support the training and development of store staff through ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations.

  • Operational Excellence: Assist in managing store operations, including cash handling, opening/closing procedures, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

  • Loss Prevention: Work closely with the Store Manager to implement loss prevention strategies and maintain a secure shopping environment.

  • Team Building: Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting teamwork and a strong work ethic among store staff.

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • 3 Years' experience in retail.
  • Management experience (advantageous).
  • Sales & service management.
  • Budgeting.
  • Computer literate.
  • Communication skills
  • Business understanding of retail trade, brand, customer & product.
