The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately receiving issuing, packing, picking and pulling stock items
Primary Duties
- Ensure stock items are packed as per best practice
- Ensure MSDs /Test certificates are received where applicable
- Conduct bi-annual, weekly and ad-hoc cycle counts. Report all non-conformances to SKA/IA.
- Ensure fuel is issued and received accurately as per the procedure
- Ensure all waste materials are safely stored
- Conduct stock takes as and when required
- Monitor stock levels
- Safe and responsible handling of Rand Water Property including machinery and vehicles
- Ensure good housekeeping practices are adhered to

Skills
- Accurate and thorough quality inspection when receiving and issuing stock
- Computer literacy. Accurate use of SAP for stock control and/or reporting
- Good communication skills verbal and written

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- Basic storekeeping and stock control qualification
- At least 3years’ experience in an inventory environment
- Computer literacy, efficiency in Microsoft Office packaging and SAP will added advantage
- Valid driver's license with the ability to pass the Rand Water K53 test
- Basic understanding of SHEQ elements
