We at voestalpine Automotive Components East London (Pty) Ltd form part of the Metal Forming Division of the voestalpine Group.

Automotive Components is a business unit in the Metal Forming Division. Our core competence lies in the development and implementation of light-weight solutions for the automotive industry. As a globally active network, we manufacture innovative parts made of steel and other metals for international customers. Job description

To ensure that all equipment is running and maintained in the facility and to be involved and participate in the company's activities.

• Ensure availability of equipment at all times.
• Manage Spare part store to ensure availability of spare parts when needed.
• Manage breakdowns on shift
• Must be able to work shifts
• On stand by at intervals, own transport essential
• When needed weekend work is available
• Shutdown maintenance availability

We currently run three shifts per day - 06h00:14h00, 14h00:22h00 and 22h00:06h00 the candidate must be able to work these hours.

This person will be reporting directly to the Technical Services Manager.

Qualifications

• N3
• Any technical qualification e.g. electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, millwright etc.

The candidate should have 8 to 10 years experience in a Maintenance environment.
