General Worker: Intake - Premier

Job Description

To ensure the timeous offloading and inspection of grain trucks so that samples are sent to the lab for quality testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Offloading the trucks and taking of sample from the trucks
• Truck Inspections
• Testing and taking the sample to the Lab
• Cleaning of Intake offloading area, clearing of chokes and Overflowing bins
• Cleaning of Intake machines and Housekeeping
• Assisting on the Repairing and maintaining of the Intake machines
• Ensure compliance with relevant Food Safety and Health Safety

Qualification Requirements

• Grade 12 - Essential

Experience Requirements

• Exposure and Mill knowledge will be an advantage

Other Requirements

• Required to work in hot and cold extreme weather conditions.
• Required to perform heavy physical labour.
• 5-day position and may be required to work overtime and unusual working hours (after hours) from time to time.
