Regional Stock Coordinator - Mr Price

Join us as a Regional Stock Coordinator and play a vital role in ensuring seamless inventory management for our dynamic fashion retail team, based in Eastern Gauteng at The Glen Mr Price store. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that space planning received from the Merchandise Operations Manager is implemented in all stores in the region accordingly. 
• Ensure bay counts are done as per the required frequency. 
• Analyze and compile the weekly postmortem report.     
• Actioning of markdowns & clear-outs at regional level. 
• Communicating with the Merchandise Operations Manager on all stock-related queries including under and over stocks.   
• Consolidate transfer out lists from the Merchandise Operations Manager. 
• Gather information as required with regards to stock and/or merchandise. 
• Follow up on new stores opening (Distribution Centre) and with the MOM, to ensure that the right amount of stock arrives in the store at the right time.
• Update Area Managers / Operations Managers on where the stock is currently in the pipeline (SIT, SOH, Stock IN DC).                                                                                               
• Gather information on allocations and store grading and give this information to the Operations Managers and Area Managers to assist with decision-making on stock levels and missed opportunities on product assortment and store profile.   
• Communicate and analyze out-of-line situations to the Ops Manager and Area Managers. 
• Execute the process of extracting data from the system (MIS, Efocus, Sales Analysis, Tableau etc.).                                                           
• Assist the Area Managers with communication between the Merchandise Operations Managers, stores, and couriers’ providers. 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Matric (Mathematics Mandatory) / NQF4
• Advanced Excel Skills 
• Proven analytical ability. 
• Experience in stock movements either from store manager level or as an Area Coordinator (or similar) will be an added advantage.
