Eduvos is looking to employ the services of a highly-skilled Chief Information Officer with a storied history in technology; within the educational or professional services sector, to be based at any of our National campuses.

The Position:
The role is tasked with making executive technology decisions to align the company with its vision and technological needs through:
- Developing the company’s future-facing vision and strategy for using technological resources
- Ensuring technologies are used efficiently, profitably and securely
- Evaluating and effectively implementing new systems and infrastructure
The role will aim to improve processes, efficiencies and systems within the company; as well as looking outward, using technology to improve products, service and education delivery to serve our students.

Minimum Requirements
Minimum qualification:
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- MBA or other relevant post-graduate degree
Experience:
Previous working experience as a CIO / CTO with extensive industry knowledge coupled with strategic future-focussed alignment of organisational technological resources.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
As the Chief Information Officer, you will be primarily responsible for the following:
- Set a vision and strategy for how technology will be used in the company and by its students
- Plan and oversee the development and deployment of all technological services to successful completion
- Ensure that technological resources meet the company's short and long-term needs
- Discover and implement new technologies that yield a competitive advantage
- Oversee contract negotiations and management with IT vendors, contractors and service providers
- Oversee the proactive management of the organisations technological infrastructure (networks, computer systems and devices) to ensure optimal performance
- Oversee quality assurance
- Ensure cyber and infrastructure security and data protection
- Monitor project KPI’s and IT expenditure to assess ROI and technology efficiencies
- Determine and manage technology budgets and time frames
- Ensure all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards
- Act as a mentor to team members
- Stay on top of technology trends and developments
- Serve on the Senior Leadership Team (EXCO) as a business resource and functional lead
