Job Overview
- Conducting Inspections, Installations and Repairs on Komatsu Mining equipment
Key Job Responsibilities
- Conducting Inspections, Installations and Repairs
- Identifying and resolving electrical and mechanical issues, conducting repairs, replacements or assembling equipment according to KMC technical drawings/manuals
- Adhering to engineering specifications and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot and Repair Electrical and Mechanical Problems
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems using testing equipment and technical expertise.
- Identify the root causes of issues and perform repairs or replacements as needed. This may involve troubleshooting hydraulic and electrical circuits, fixing faulty wiring, and or replacing defective components.
- Read and Interpret Electrical Drawings and technical specifications.
- Safety Compliance, ensure that all safety procedures are followed, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with lockout/tagout procedures.

Qualifications/Requirements
- Qualified Millwright
- Valid Flameproof Certificate advantageous
- Be able to read mechanical and electrical schematic and wiring drawings.
- 3-5 years Hydraulic and electrical fault finding experience
- Valid crane license advantageous
