purpose

This role will provide co-ordination support for responsible sourcing and supply chain, ensuring accurate and actionable reporting in line with divisional strategy.

key responsibilities

  • Analysis and reporting.
  • Conducting Social Compliance Audits.
  • Grading and capturing of Social Compliance Audits.
  • Following up with suppliers on outstanding Social Compliance Audits and BBBEE certificated.
  • Ensure all reporting tools are updated and accurate.
  • Provide critical data for board reporting.
  • Engage with suppliers to ensure key compliance issues are being managed.
    Providing support in the developing and implementing of a short- and long-term Sourcing and Supply Chain strategy to support business needs and merchandise direction.
  • Support with the collating and validating of key onboarding documents. Report any supplier non-compliance to respective Senior Sourcing Specialist/ Value Chain Analyst.
  • Assist and guide new vendors in order to ensure their understanding of our requirements, policies and procedures.
  • Assist Value Chain analyst with spot checks on local factories, and critical issue closure.

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree or diploma
  • Experience in ethical compliance.
  • Intermediate MS Office, specifically Excel.
  • 2 years’ of relevant experience.
  • Driver’s license.
  • Ability to coordinate, prioritize, manage critical paths and take ownership.
  • Ability to pull reports and analyze data.
  • Build and maintain relationships with the team, divisional teams, suppliers and third-party service providers.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Creative problem-solving skills and accountability.
  • Knowledge of the homeware industry, competitors and product.
