Trainee Videographer - Mr Price Apparel

Are you a creative, out-of-the-box thinker? Mr Price Apparel is looking for a Trainee Videographer who will be based at our Support Center in Durban. You will have a unique opportunity to learn tahe ins-and-outs of Videography and marketing at one of South Africa’s top omnichannel retailers.

• Assist the team with content development
• Assist with preparing for shoots, camera work, lighting set ups and audio recording for any creative shoots.
• Ensure the general upkeep and maintenance of equipment.
• Assist the video editor to source shoot team assistants, and relevant equipment from external suppliers.
• Attend shoots and assist the content producers and video editors where required to ensure content is developed according to plan.
• Assist the shoot team in sourcing music and building a database of music for production use.
• Assist with adding music, animations and colour correcting of content to meet expected outcomes as per briefs.
• Assist with post production in line with brief requirements.
• Stay abreast of video trends and offer suggestions to improve content in house.

• Experience with film, video and motion content (editing and content creation)
• Experience with camera and light operating and video editing software
• Diploma or Degree in Videography\Film or related
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, familiarity with Maxon Cinema 4D or equivalent, an added advantage.
• Strong camera knowledge and skills.
• Is able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
