Driver at Ampath

Purpose of Position

To collect and deliver reports; specimens and parcels sufficiently and timeously to and from the wards, hospitals, Dr rooms, factories and relevant clients by means of a vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver reports, specimens and parcels in order to ensure that clients and labs received them timeously

• Maintain safekeeping and maintenance of company vehicles and relevant equipment in order to remain contactable and deliver excellent service.
• Maintain good client relations in order to promote the image of Ampath at all times.

Required

• 1 year general driving experience
• Knowledge of National Traffic rules and regulations
• Communication skills
• Grade 10
• Must be prepared to work overtime , weekends , public holidays as required
• Valid South African Drivers Licence (Code B) Advantageous
• Valid South African Drivers Licence (Code A) 2-3 years experience as a driver collecting and delivering goods
• Knowledge of the relevant geographical area
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance
• Communication skills
