Junior BI Specialist - Hollard Insurance

Role Context:

• Responsible for T-SQL Scripting and building reports in SSRS & Power BI, with a passion to work with numbers and financial data extensively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and delivering of reports
• Data analysis, cleaning, and interpreting
• Creating and maintaining ETLs
• Perform data acquisition from other defined platforms
• Creating, documenting, and maintaining pricing files
• Create & maintain data dictionary for pricing files
• SQL scripting to implement business logic on data (financial calculations)

Required Knowledge and Experience    

• Minimum of 2 years overall in SQL development (SSRS, SSIS, PBI)
• At least 1 year in end-to-end BI tools
• Strong ETL development skills
• T-SQL and SQL scripting experience
• Importing and cleansing of the various data sources
• Data discrepancy investigation
• Ability to perform data and system trace throughs

Educational Requirements    

• Relevant Degree/Diploma in IT / IS
• MS certification advantageous
• MS BI certification advantageous
