Security Guard - Safair Operations

Safair Operations, operating as FlySafair, has a vacancy for a Security Guard at our head office in Bonaero Park. The successful application will report to the Manager: Facilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Protect the company’s staff and property by maintaining a safe and secure environment through quality access control;
• Monitor and control access to and from the Safair facility;
• Ensuring that only authorized personnel, vehicles and materials enter, move within, and leave the facility;
• Assist with the eviction of violators from the premises;
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances;
• Reporting of any suspicious incidents and/activities;
• Patrol all facilities and perimeter;
• Assist with Ad Hoc duties as required

REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12;
• Security Grade C grading;
• Proven work experience as a security guard with contactable references;
• Aviation experience preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills;
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and on public holidays.
