Job Purpose

To develop high-level end-to-end design and Macro design in the context of the high-level solution architecture to realise the business requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • •Build and maintain strong relationships with external clients by understanding their business and the industry in which they operate.
  • •Ensure teamwork by understanding the roles and responsibilities of team members
  • Ensure smooth flow of work through regular communication and feedback with the ManagerInvolve other divisions within the Bank by getting their inputs on various deals where their expertise is required.
  • • Contribute to a culture conducive to the achievement of transformation goals by participating in Nedbank Culture building initiatives (e.g. staff surveys etc.).
  • •Participate and support corporate social responsibility initiatives for the achievement of key business strategies.
  • •Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance processes; systems and policies and support implementation of new processes; policies and systems.
  • • Ensure that turnaround times are met by assessing the applications effectively and efficiently within the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) Ensure work is reviewed by using the Management and Information System (MIS) to identify which annual and interim reviews of facilities must be done.
  • •Identify clients who have exceeded their credit limits through the drawing of excess reports on daily basis
  • Risk-rate clients and assess their financial position by obtaining and capturing their financial information on risk systems
  • Ensure that work is completed according to plan by performing credit administration tasks e.g. facility letters; debtor analysis; certificate of balances; credit checks; general banking facility calculations; obtain and provide bank codes and filing etc.
  • Monitor the client's security (collateral) by creating; linking; verifying and maintaining the ACA mitigant SystemMonitor and control risks by doing regular accounts reports e.g. weekly
  • Keep abreast of legislation and other industry changes that impact on role by reading the relevant newsletters; websites and attending sessions.
  • •Understand and embrace the Nedbank vision and demonstrate the values through interaction with team and stakeholders.
  • •Improve personal capability and stay abreast of developments in field of expertise by identifying training courses and career progression for self through input and feedback from managers
  • Ensure personal growth and enable effectiveness in the performance of roles and responsibilities by ensuring all learning activities are completed; experience practiced and certifications obtained and/or maintained within specified time frames.
  • •Ensure information is provided correctly to stakeholders by maintaining knowledge sharing with team.

Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

  • Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
  • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate

Preferred Qualification

  • Bcom information technology

Essential Certifications

  • Certificate relevant multiple technologies where available

  • Entry Level design experience
