Our Integration team is looking for a new IT Portfolio Manager! This role is brand new as we grow our development team further. You’d oversee our integration space, making sure that all business solutions and the team are thriving!
Responsibilities
Driving Strategy:
- Actively engage with internal Mr Price IT stakeholders to align to the Group’s broader strategic objectives.
- Translate integration strategies into solutions for key business requirements.
- Evolving and managing the integration platform according to strategic roadmaps (both from a technical and functional perspective).
Project Execution and Service Delivery:
- Has accountability for the solution delivery according to the agreed project scope. This includes leading, determining and ensuring that the project scope, time, cost, quality, communication, risk, change, procurement, resource, and integration management are delivered in line with the optimal and agreed solution, across the project life cycle.
- Manages all communication and work assignments between projects and functional domains, system integrators and other parties who participate in integration.

- Assist project teams with understanding integration capabilities and dependencies.
- Managing acceptance and deployment of integration artefacts to the different environments (QA, Production).
- Managing platform-level support and managing product enhancements.
Risk Management:
- Highlight project risks to the business
Team Management:
- Ensure that the workload within the team is distributed fairly and in line with the team's priorities.
- Keep abreast of the talent pool to contribute to the recruitment of top talent.
- Drive succession, training, and development within the team to ensure resource capability and business continuity.
- Identify skills gaps and create development roadmaps
- Manage any contracts/commercials/KPIs when working with external vendors
- Manage the Integration Roadmap
- Manage integration-related support and escalations
Requirements
- a relevant IT or business degree (preferred)
- 3+ years in a management role in a software development/integration environment
- You've managed a team directly with aspects such as performance, leave, career development etc
- Have knowledge of how the following technologies/ integration concepts/patterns work:
- Near Real Time Integration,
- Real-Time Integration,
- Batch Integration
- WSO2
- Automic
- SQL Server Integration Services
- Oracle RIB
