Logistics Analyst - Mr Price Logistics

Mr Price Logistics has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Analyst to create visibility and make sense of business data to enable relevant stakeholders to make informed decisions.

• To compile and analyze data to provide insights to the Logistics and Supply Chain team in order to influence and make recommendations to relevant stakeholders on any business risk.
• Extracting & processing data (internal systems) to create visibility for informed decision-making by relevant stakeholders.
• Participate in the retrieval, analysis, simplification and representation of complex data
• Collecting data from multiple sources including primary, secondary, internal and external sources to generate data for analysis.
• Preparing data for the readiness of use, while assessing the quality of the data.
• Validate data (Financial and Non-financial) and problem-solve to ensure data accuracy and drive continuous improvement.
• Extracting & processing data (internal systems) to create visibility for informed decision-making by relevant stakeholders.
• Interpret data using specific methods and technology.
• Create reports on patterns and trends identified in the business to aid the business in making well-informed decisions.

• Degree in Industrial Engineering/Finance/Mathematics/Statistics/Business or Similar with a focus on analytics/ business Information Management: Supply Chain/Logistics.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in analytics, data preparation, visualization, and quantitative research methods
• Specific knowledge of Statistics, Intermediate SQL, and Supply Chain Management.
• Understanding of Logistics and Supply Chain.
