Mill Attendant - Premier

Job Description

To assist the shift Miller to obtain good output, extraction and wheat quality by assisting with all milling operations in the plant. The team target is to obtain optimum milling performance.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the shift miller with all milling-related operations
• Complete any general function in the mill that the shift miller abdicates to him\her
• To check and report Quality consistency
• To assist with Millers' Maintenance & preparation and assist with Overall Plant Efficiency
• Ensure that you adhere to Safe working practices
• Housekeeping to be always maintain
• Assist Miller with accurate Gristing
• Standard operating procedures
• Invocom™ participation and facilitation
• Assist with manufacturing according to FSSC 22000 standards

Qualification Requirements

• Matric
• HACCP exposure will be an added advantage

Experience Requirements

• 2 Years’ experience in the Wheat Mill plant

Other Requirements:

• Pressurised environment
• 6-day position
• Stand in for bran loader when going on annual leave or scheduled training
• Required to work Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays and 24/7 standby
