The Mr Price Foundation is looking for a Junior Data Analyst who is passionate about analysis and interpreting data to provide professional support to the Mr Price Foundation team. You will be involved in the retrieval, analysis, simplification and representation of complex data sets through the use of data and analytics for the Jumpstart Programme. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Filtering and “cleaning” data by reviewing reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct problems – being skilled in all aspects of data analytics, including mining and generation. Additionally, transforming data into readable, goal-driven reports for continued innovation and growth
  • Preparing reports for the Jumpstart Analyst and Programme Owner
  • Locating and defining new process improvement opportunities, applying research and thorough data collection to ensure the continued success of the programme
  • Communication to Stores about candidates, as well as providing confirmation on stores chosen by liaising with Employer partners
  • Drawing weekly training analysis reports to provide feedback and identify red flags
  • Ensuring that all changes in programs and outcomes are well documented
  • Conducting adhoc admin functions as and when necessary

Requirements

  • Degree in  either Developmental Economics, Mathematics, Information Technology, Statistics or Data Science
  • Minimum of 1 years experience in data analytics role (CSI/Socio-Economic experience is advantageous)
  • Experience creating detailed reports
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, with advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent communicative and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on numerous projects
