your purpose

Manage the attraction and selection process for all graduate roles for the Mr Price Group.

You will collaborate with key partners / stakeholders to create strategies and campaigns which will improve the awareness of our Employer Brand and Graduate Programmes. This will ensure that the Mr Price Group recruits a diverse pool of graduate talent to meet our business needs and is considered as a Graduate employer of choice.

your responsibilities:

  • Recruitment of all Graduate roles across the Mr Price Group
  • Develop and execute an exceptional brand aligned candidate experience for Graduates to support our Early Career strategy
  • Ensure that all steps of the Graduate recruitment process are followed and tracked on the recruitment system, for the best quality talent to be provided to the Group for current vacancies.


  • Create strategies and campaigns to increase the awareness of the Mr Price Group Employer brand and our graduate programmes so we are considered as an employer of choice to the Graduate markets we target
  • Proactively build talent pipelines across multiple academic streams to support your day to day current and future recruitment needs.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders (HR Community, Hiring Managers ) on the status of graduate recruitment activities
  • Establish sustainable working relationships with all relevant tertiary institutions and stakeholders to ensure the attraction & recruitment of top talent
  • Coordinate, Facilitate, and attend campus recruiting events (online or in person)
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective graduates and students
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, or reports to business leadership and the HR Community for buy-in on graduate recruitment initiatives
  • Regular improvements of our graduate recruitment processes and attraction methods to ensure they remain brand aligned and successful

what are the requirements?

  • Grade 12. A BCOM HR, Industrial Psychology or Marketing qualification would be preferable
  • 2-3 Years of end-to-end Recruitment experience preferably within an in-house recruitment team
  • Competent and experienced with the use of an ATS, Job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Candidate search.
  • An understanding of recruitment marketing
  • Proven ability to head hunt /source passive candidate
  • The following attributes, personality traits would ensure your success: Adaptable, resilient, a problem solver, a self-starter, a can-do attitude, effective at building relationships, an inquiring mind, excellent communication skills, high energy, and a team player
