A vacancy exists for a Personal Assistant to the Regional Manager stationed at our Bloemfontein branch. The main purpose of this position is to deliver efficient secretarial services, provide general administration services and manage interfaces.

Key Performance Areas: (not totally inclusive)

  • Sorting of correspondence
  • Maintaining filing system and document management
  • Answering the telephone, screening calls and taking messages
  • Organizing travel arrangements –flights, accommodation and transport

  • Typing of documents, reports and preparation of presentations
  • Assisting in queries and tasks
  • Arrange client and Regional meetings
  • Compile and keep a record of the minutes of the meetings
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers, staff and colleagues
  • Consolidate management information and reports
  • Organizing workshops & functions

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or Matric Certificate
  • Secretarial or Management Assistant Certificate.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the PA / similar position
  • Knowledge of the SAP system (not compulsory)
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint and especially Excel is essential
  • Numerical accuracy and high methodical working methods are required
  • Ability to liaise professionally with personnel at all levels
  • Ability to work without supervision, under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Must have own transport
