Key Performance Areas
- Ensure all traffic laws and regulations are effectively enforced.
- To ensure all duties associated with the reduction of traffic congestion are performed.
- To deliver on all traffic policing functions assigned to the specialist units of the Cape Town traffic department.
- To maintain effective and efficient stakeholder relations.
- Ensure performance on all administrative sequences related to statutory documentation, registers and statistics.
- Ensure adherence to all general organisational protocols, policies and procedures
- Carrying of a firearm on duty is compulsory and relevant training in the use of firearms will be provided to ensure compliance to all relevant legislation and policies

Requirements
- A Grade 12 (Matric)
- RTMC National Diploma for Traffic Officers
- Must be a registered Traffic Officer
- Minimum 1 year relevant experience
- Valid Driver’s License (B)
- First Aid Course - Completed
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime
- No criminal record
